CREATING THE CLOUD NINE CARNIVAL WITH BIG BAMBOO EVENTS

When CLOUD NINE, industry-leading hair and beauty brand based in North Yorkshire, enquired about putting on another staff party with the help of Big Bamboo, our eyes lit up.

As a brand, CLOUD NINE prides itself on kindness; to the hair – through its bespoke Kinder Styling Technology, to people – through its amazing charity initiatives, and to the planet – through its environmental consciousness and focus on sustainability.

Back in 2022, we helped the CLOUD NINE team organise and run #FierceFest: a fun-filled day of styling, singing, dancing and drinking to celebrate the achievements of the group and give its colleagues the perfect chance to let their hair down and unwind. The event went down a treat and we were delighted to hear that the team was keen to have us back to help with round two!

This year, our Head of Events and Digital, Cara Kenny, and the rest of the Big Bamboo operations team got to work planning something even bigger and even better! We sourced an amazing venue, co-ordinated guestlist and suppliers, designed and printed the invites and signage and wrote some exciting communications in the lead up to get people in the mood.

The end result? The CLOUD NINE carnival!

With funfair games, live music courtesy of Southwest Band, a Victorian carousel, a fish and chips van and a free bar, the CLOUD NINE team had a ball in the sunshine. We could really see the value of our support and organisation throughout the event, as it took the weight off of the CLOUD NINE team, leaving them to focus on celebrating in style. Again, we were blessed with wonderful Yorkshire sunshine which lifted moods even further.

It was a real pleasure to take the lead on such an incredible event, so thank you to CLOUD NINE for putting their trust in us once more! Roll on next year… We can’t wait.
